How to Lock Facebook Profile

To lock your Facebook profile and limit who can see your information and posts, follow these steps:

Open the Facebook app on your mobile device.

Go to your profile by tapping on your profile picture in the top left corner.

Tap the three dots in the top right corner of your profile.

Scroll down and select "Lock Profile."

A pop-up window will appear with information about what it means to lock your profile. Read the information and tap "Lock Your Profile" if you want to proceed.

Once you have locked your profile, only your Facebook friends will be able to see your posts, photos, and personal information. People who are not your friends will only see a limited version of your profile, including your profile picture, cover photo, and your name.

Note that some information, such as your public posts, will still be visible to everyone. You can adjust your privacy settings to control who can see your public posts, but you cannot completely hide them from the public.
