Being a Parent as opposed to a Buddy

A Parent is so much more than being a buddy. A parent should care more about teaching their child the right things even if it makes the child mad or hurts their feelings. Your job is to protect them especially when the new fad is to allow them to transition. If the child can not legally drive a car on public roads or buy alcohol or cigarettes, buy a guy, or vote. What makes folks think that they are ready to make an irreversible decision that will trap them in a prison of their own body? Much like someone paralyzed and in a wheelchair.
