Botched Artwork in Need of Repair

Coeur d'Alene's Monument to Peace & Unity was celebrated in September, 2022. Six months ago. Now the city is looking for maintenance repairs. The problem is that these photos were taken the day it was unveiled, with scuff marks, chips, wrong paint color, dried dripping paint, and a boot print was seen in the middle of the statue. Did CDA get robbed of city taxpayer money while the artist retreated back to West Virginia?
