Bill Maher scared of precedent being set against former Presidents

This is rich:
The man who admitted that he was afraid Trump would 'send him to gitmo' is now concerned that a Trump indictment will spark a 'cycle of revenge' and set a dangerous precedent in going after 'former Presidents'.

"I feel like civilization probably ends when we have this impossible choice..I always ask myself the question, ‘What is actually better for the future of the country and my future?' Because I don't want to live in a country where we are one of these places where whoever is president, as soon as they get out of office, they go after them.
I don't want to live in a It's almost Greek tragedy.. you set off this cycle of revenge. I guarantee when Biden is out of office day two, they will try to arrest him."

I don't know about you but I want to live in a country where we have set a precident for arresting former Presidents. Especially all the former Presidents who committed crimes against humanity and war crimes a thousand times over.
