It's opening day! You've been waiting for this! You get up early, head to the woods long before daylight, and you don't hear anything. There isn't any gobbling on the roost. What happened? Where are the turkeys? Don't panic. A second strategy if you can't locate a tom on the roost, is to go to an area where there is a good amount of food sources. Get setup and:

Call lightly
There might be a good chance the tom didn't gobble because he had hens roosted nearby with him. But once they get on the ground, it's feeding time. If you are in the right place, they might just come your way and give you a shot
