School Security & Gun Laws

Gun Laws like Universal Background Checks and Limited Capacity Magazines would not have prevented this tragedy. Additional school security measures to make it more difficult to breach the doors/windows and armed security/law enforcement would have stopped this threat way before responding officers arrived or maybe this school would not have been targeted because it was a hard target.

I will say, the fact that this school hired a private security company to train the school personnel in Active Shooter Defensive Tactics definitely saved many lives.

We can do so much better to protect our children!
