This week I will be teaching how to check, block and catch a kick.
We will also be working on the development of one combination using the blocks and counters that were covered.
Partner drills should be at 30-50% capacity, enough for the student to take care of their partners.
-1,1, parry (simultaneously throwing a 3), 4, switch head kick
-block head kick, body kick, scoop leg kick.
Block the head kick, ‘answer the phone’ body block, check, or ‘pick up your pants’.
Once the student is familiar with combination they may add their own flair to the combination.
