In 2023, the city of #SanFrancisco had a legislative group look into #reparations for California Black citizens who are descendants of slaves. They came up with a plan to give all the blacks a monetary reparations package amounting to over 800 million dollars. Why would Californians need to pay reparations at all though? California was a free state. Also, since California is taking on the reparations issue for the entire nation of America, then how will reparations work when you start looking into Black slave owners?
