Meet South Doyle High School science teacher Sanford Graves. The Tennessee teacher was recently caught on video repeatedly saying the N-word despite students in class correcting him and letting him know the obvious fact that he should not be saying it. In all, he said it at least a half a dozen times, arguing that it was fine for him to say it because it’s a word in the English language. Well, it turns out that the school doesn’t seem to share his opinion, and he has been removed from his class as the school investigates. Now, one has to wonder what kind of thing a person might find in an investigation that could possibly excuse a YT teacher saying the N-word half a dozen times while teaching. Some things don’t require anything but swift decisive action, and Graves should be out on his ear, without a job and a reputation for being a racist with no respect for his students.
