Jesus is our ultimate provision and highlights our continued dependence on Him. New life in Christ is the most exciting decision a human can experience, but it comes with difficulties and challenges. The Holy Spirit helps us endure whatever trials life throws our way because we know our time here on earth is temporary. Therefore, we can testify in a world determined to persecute and crucify us for our faith in Jesus.
Therefore, we proclaim with every semblance of humility in our being, "When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat: Yet not I, but through Christ in me!"
