Investing in an 18v-20v battery platform is a big decision. You don't want to buy the wrong brand and be stuck with tools that don't perform. Or a brand that doesn't have the tools you want/need. Or worst of all, a brand that is discontinued.

The good news is that all the major brands produce good tools that compete with each other. If you stick with them you'll be good.
