As New York Judge Juan Merchan is set to preside over the arraignment of Donald Trump, the former president took to his Truth Social platform to describe Merchan as “highly partisan” and a “known Trump hater.” But lawyers who have practiced in Judge Merchan’s courtroom describe him as “serious,” “smart” and “even tempered.” NBC News’ Ken Dilanian has the details.
