RHCP: “CAN’T STOP”

You can’t stop the Red Hot Chili Peppers, a rock/punk/psychedelic band from LA in the early 1980s, still performing to their beloved young and old fans. During the bandmembers’ interview with CBS ‘60 Minutes’ Feb. episode: Bassist Flea says he loved their fans (“they work hard for their money”) and so he always puts best performance as if it’s his last. Drummer Chad Smith adds, “we’re entertainers, man.” These 60-something survivors of their vicious, self-destructive eras have gross $200M in their overseas and national tours last year and now have their full time concert, online & social media technical support and physical trainers. The 2012 Rock and Roll of Fame & 2022 Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree band’s one night live concert performance on April 1 at the Allegiant Stadium was superb. Info: www.redhotchilipeppers.com
