Walmart Waves Goodbye: 3 Chicago Stores Bite the Dust!

Walmart's hitting the brakes on not one, but three Chicagoland stores! Yep, you heard it right – the retail behemoth is closing down its Lincolnwood Walmart Pickup location at 6840 McCormick Blvd on Friday, Feb. 17. They say it's after a "thorough review process," but aren't they all?

But wait, there's more! The Homewood and Plainfield stores are also biting the dust, leaving shoppers in those areas to fend for themselves. Walmart claims these stores just couldn't keep up with their financial expectations. Guess sometimes even the giant can't win 'em all, huh?

The good news? Walmart is graciously allowing all the workers to transfer to other stores. How generous of them! No doubt the loyal customers from Homewood, Lincolnwood, and Plainfield will just have to trek a bit farther to get their fix of Walmart's everyday low prices.
