هاجمت حشود هندوتفا مدرسة دينية إسلامية في بيهار شريف بالهند وأضرمت فيها النيران، وأحرقوا حوالي 4500 نسخة من القرآن والكتب الأخرى. واستمر العنف حيث هاجم الغوغاء مسجد وممتلكات لمسلمين خلال مهرجان هندوسي. هذا مجرد مثال واحد على كيفية تصاعد التوترات الطائفية في الهند، ويجب اتخاذ إجراءات لتعزيز الانسجام والتسامح الدينيين.
