RS:31 Sonic The Hedgehog

The original Sonic The Hedgehog from 1991 for Sega Genesis/Master System. This one is being played on the Sega Mega Drive Classics for the PC with a USB Sega Saturn controller to emulate the original feel of the game as much as possible. It's not perfect, but it comes close.

Believe it or not, even though we had a SEGA Genesis in the house my entire childhood, we never had this game. We had the sequel, Sonic 2 with Tails, but not this, the original. I messed around with it briefly and determined I'm really bad at this and kind of miss the added functionality of the Sonic 2 controls, so I'm probably going to mess up plenty for this one.
