Before Key and Peele’s love for Liam Neeson films and mispronouncing white names would have the internet in stitches

Before both men were listed as one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World in 2014

Before Key and Peele’s hilarious ‘Obama’s Anger Translator’ sketch became a reality at the 2015 correspondents dinner.

Before Peele eloped with comedian Chelsea Peretti in April 2016, as Key divorced his wife of 7 years.

Key and Peele were born a good 600 miles away from each other but could have practically been brothers. Both were raised by black fathers and white mothers, and being biracial was a confusing burden they both dealt with in their own way. As boys the two found themselves 'too white to be black, and too black to be white', so they both learned to become chameleons, exaggerating their expected stereotypes depending on who they were with. Years later, one fateful day at an improv theatre would bring these two ‘brotha’s from anotha motha’ together.

Yeah I’m definitely too white to be black, this I know, but I've also found some success while mispronunciation many a black artists name – it wasn't intentional just we make a lot of videos & im a clutsy Canadian. Hashtag - truth
