Roses and Rhubarb

One day after and all is back to normal. Yesterday, school was canceled because of severe weather warnings--that is unprecedented for us! Although the tornado watch briefly turned into a warning around 1 pm, no funnel cloud spotted, nothing touched down, no damage. So very thankful this morning!

Yesterday, the weird weather reached summery temperatures, but this morning was in the upper 30's. Stan chopped out the peach tree by the garden and I pruned the mini-rose bushes. I sharpened my Felco pruners, but it was not quite enough. Oh, and I got around to fertilizing the roses and rhubarb. We need to buy fertilizer for the fruit trees and then I can take care of that as well!
