Women's History Made With Britain Hart's Spectacular Performance At Bkfc 39 Title Fight!

Virginia's Britain Hart put on a blistering performance in the first-ever women's title fight in BKFC history, landing punches and knees to the body of Jenny Clausius. It was a convincing unanimous decision victory for Hart, who improves to 7-3 (2 KOs).

Hart successfully defended her BKFC Women's World Strawweight Championship for the first time and has the distinct honor of being the first female fighter in BKFC history to enter the Squared Circle 10 times. With the loss, Clausius fell to 3-2 (2 KOs). Scores for Hart were 50-44 twice and 49-45.

With little time for each fighter to warm up due to a last minute accident backstage the ladies fight was moved up. It looked like both fighters started off slowly and while Hart was not pleased with her performance she told #bareknucklenews it was defintetely more chaotic than usual pre fight.

"You know, there was actually an accident because we're in an ice hockey rink. So there was an accident with a fight that got scratched right before mine. So we were in the locker room. We hadn't warmed up yet. They came in and said, Oh my gosh, this fight is canceled. You guys are in the holding. We were like, What? What's going on? We didn't warm up.

But, you know, I kind of have this philosophy. It kind of bit me in the ass, but I'm like, born ready. I don't need to warm up. Let's go. So going into that ring, I was a little bit more cold. I wish I was a little bit more warmed up. You saw on the later rounds it kind of started getting better, but it was a it was a weird fight. I'm not going to lie, but I feel like I proved a lot of great things.

I proved that I'm not panicking, going to jump in and wild. I fought my fight. I was composed. I really tried to pick my shots, really wanted to put this girl to sleep. I was really determined to do that. And hey, we got one drop, so we got a ten eight round. And that was a big victory in my in my book. "

What's next for Hart? She wants to step out of her comfort zone and fight in Thailand, England or any other countries #BKFC is planning on going to.
