Thank You Lord

[Spiritual or Inspirational Poem Collection] -
Well, this one just wanted to be …. so here it is. Written this morning, it represents a speed of production I have not experienced previously.
Now is the time!!! - “and ‘Love’ is the ‘only’, between any ‘first thing’ and ‘last thing’ …

Will include this poem in my 'Spiritual or Inspirational' collection which contains 'a range of Heart and Soul (Healing) based rhymes.

POEM WORDING –

Thank You Lord.

Today, we remember that
Christ our Lord, was cruficied.
Mocked and shamed,
His Corporal Body brutalised.

All so that ‘we’, His ‘beloved’
could be ‘de-Luciferised’?!
It brings tears to my eyes;
What He sacrificed.

How do we now ‘negotiate’
these tenets?
Perceiving, believing, receiving
His Love, through His Eyes?
Without, It’s fundamental truth
Being belied?

Are you also, feeling
‘a little mystified’?
Perhaps it just plays out now
in ‘karmic penance’!!

Give me strength Lord …
Let me endure.
Help me keep this heart pure.
These times of the ‘quaking’ coming here
Is felt, to be very near.
Calm us, rest us.
We await Your Cheer.
With help through other
‘masters’, also sublime.

So, today, I try honour it and You
With ‘fasting’
Yet, my will is weak
And memory short-lasting!

But yet, inside I know that
Both You and I are everlasting
And ‘Love’ is the ‘only’
between, any ‘first thing’
and ‘last thing’

Thank You Lord, for Your
Sacrifice ….
I think I get the message …
It’s nice.
