Look Like Jesus- Are We All Born Innocent?

Today's Question: Are we all born innocent?

Had a strange thought today. Nothing is evil by design and everything begins with a choice. My mother said that's wrong. Then I asked for biblical evidence. I said God designed everything and made it and called it good. Even the devil was made good for he was an angel. He chose to fall and disobey. Just as God chose to create and love us. So my statement seems biblically correct yet somehow it seems off like I missed something. What does the Bible say about this and what does everyone else think? I'm not above being proven wrong so if you think this is wrong by all means let me know why.
