Chronological Bible in a Year 2023 - April 7, Day 97 - Ruth

Welcome to Day 97, April 7th, 2023. Happy Good Friday! We read the story of Ruth, a Moabite widow whose husband dies. She decides to stay with her widowed mother in law Naomi. She eventually meets Boaz, a near kinsman to Naomi. Ruth's redemption is restored at the threshing floor. Boaz marries Ruth, who gives birth to a son Obed, who is the grandfather of David, who is the ancestor of our Lord and Savior, the only Begotten Son of the Father, Jesus Christ! This marks the beginning and end of the Book of Ruth.
