NECESSARY SUFFERING FOR OUR SALVATION

31 And He began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Something about these questions not only touched my heart, but also got me to thinking about just what Jesus did, how He so willingly suffered for you and me, and I had to share these questions with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that God will not only encourage you through them, but cause you gratitude as well.

Why is it important for you to remember Jesus’ suffering?

How does His example help you when you suffer?

What I'd like to do right now, my friends, is share some things that God showed me from His Word this morning, on just how necessary it was for Christ to suffer for us, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will help change your perspective on not just this day, but on knowing what it means to serve a risen savior who willingly suffered for you. So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you'll really truly think about what Jesus did on that cross for you, and that you'll not be afraid to thank Him for it. I especially pray that you look beyond the suffering that he did, to see how that suffering was part of the Heavenly Father’s redemption plan for you, and the entire world, and thank Him for being willing to suffer, even to death, so that we might receive eternal life!
