DEAR GEN Z, FROM GEN Y

This is a message for the next generation from your slightly elder brothers and sisters. This video would have really helped me 10 years ago if I had the patience to listen to it, stay calm and accept something that I might not like at first.

Experience is impossible to fast track. Understand that we appreciate you, need you and respect you. But please try to remain calm, listen, learn and embrace that things are not always what they seem.

Sometimes, the things we're certain to be true simply aren't. If you can be open to learning before reacting, it will benefit you like it did for us.

I share this out of love and to assist you in processing complicated times.

Don't let them use you against you. Realize you can't know everything yet, but our interests are aligned.

Though it may seem like we can't see what you see, the feeling is mutual. We just understand that letting you learn is part of the process.
