Dominion Election Contract with Sherburne County MN

Is it ok if your County lets their Election Vendor Contract Expire and still use the machines and software to run an election? Can we Trust County Officials that back date contracts? Can we Trust a Vendor to count our votes when they can't even keep track of their Contract?
