ABOUT MY GUEST
Marcos Vargas is the founder of Activo Coaching. He specializes in total life coaching. It is his experience that the mind is a powerful tool, but it can be just as damaging as it is motivating if it's not programmed correctly. Once the mind is right, total body healing and wellness will follow, allowing people to focus on their life goals.

His story began in 2012 when he was working in construction. He built custom homes for a living for many years. He worked around the clock, constantly grinding away to bring home that green for his family. He also had other things going on at the time. He was a personal trainer and life coach, and he even went to school for sound engineering so that he could make music. I guess you could say he has many talents. He was so stressed that year that he didn’t even realize it. One day after leaving the gym, he started to get tunnel vision, and then out of nowhere, he collapsed. He got back up after a bit and drove to his father’s house. By the time he got there, his arm had gone numb, and he was not feeling well.

He asked his father for advice because he had never experienced this before. His father told him that he had a heart attack, and his father drove him to the hospital. He suffered three more heart attacks in the hospital. He woke up two weeks later to see that his chest had been ripped open and sutured back together. He felt violated. He felt anger, depression, fear, anxiety, and every other emotion you could think of. Mostly, he felt total helplessness as he watched his family’s concerned faces watch over him.

After that experience, he decided he was called to coach others through trauma and any obstacles they may be dealing with in life. He could overcome all of that and still be successful in his physical fitness routine and his whole life. He wants to share his story and his gift of mindset training with others so that they can accomplish whatever they set their minds to.
