DROW Were Too PROBLEMATIC For Dungeon And Dragons Honor Among Thieves

The Dungeon and Dragons movie is not making back the budget for Hasbro, meanwhile they original script was casting Drizzt Do'urden for Xenk, the Paladin. Was this the right choice to remove Drizzt? Or was this done to market the movie better for other markets. Conflicted on this choice by Wizards of the Coast, especially when sensitivity readers at WOTC state interracial couples in DND is racist.
