Zoella, born Zoe Elizabeth Sugg worked as a child background extra appearing in two of the Harry Potter films, uncertain about her future career goals she started a blog in 2009 simply out of boredom. There were no readers except for family and friends but by the end of the year that all changed when she had hit the 1000 followers mark. Suddenly she was gaining fans from all over the world, one in particular she is still BFF’s with today. That same year she started her YouTube channel which would launch her to fame, becoming one of the most popular people in the beauty and fashion world with major sponsorship deals and a legion of loyal fans.

Zoella was born Zoe Elizabeth Sugg on March 28, 1990 and grew up in the small town of Lacock, Wiltshire England with her younger brother Joe Sugg who is a year and half younger. She attended the Corsham School secondary school and arts college.

The daughter to Tracey and Graham Sugg, the family lived a quiet contry life in the Southwest of England and Zoella recalls happy times traveling with her family to the beaches of Cornwall on the south coast of England although she didn’t like getting her hair wet. Even as a child she was well aware of her hair and being a girly girl.
