Before Frank Ocean would pick up two Grammy’s in 2013 for best urban contemporary album and best rap/sung collaboration.
Before he would get into a fist fight with Chris Brown over a parking spot and get sued by Chipotle.
Before he revealed in an open letter on his Tumblr Blog that he had been involved in a same S3X relationship and became the first openly G4Y hip hop artist.
Before he would team up with Tyler The Creator and Odd Future.

Frank Ocean would lose his recording studio in Hurricane Katrina, following which he dropped out of University and made the move to Los Angeles.
Frank Ocean worked an assortment of jobs including that of a washing cars, mowing lawns, walking dogs, Subway sandwich artist, and later processing insurance claims for AT&T.
Frank Ocean got his early big breaks in music industry as a ghostwriter for Justin Beiber, and Beyonce.

Frank Ocean was born Christopher Lonny Breaux on October 28, 1987, in Long Beach, California to parents Calvin Cooksey and Katonya Breaux. When he was a child, his family moved to New Orleans, where he spent the majority of his youth.

After graduating from high school in 2005, he enrolled at the University of New Orleans. However, in August of that year, Hurricane Katrina hit and wreaked havoc on the region. Amidst the chaos, the facility where Ocean was recording at the time was badly flooded and later looted.

His school badly damaged he was forced to relocate to the University of Louisianna, but instead decided to drop out of school in pursuit of music.
