Before Hopsin would pull a massive goof on his fans stating that he was going to quit rap and move to Australia.
Before he was dissing Tyler the Creator and started some serious beef with Soulja Boy.
Before he got his p3n1s grabbed hardc0re by a fan on stage mid performance.
Before he ever put White Contact Lenses in his eyes.

Growing up in Hopsin he was a gifted skateboarder.
who worked as a television and film background actor throughout his teens and into his twenties. He appeared in ‘That’s So Raven’, ‘Malcolm In The Middle’, ‘Lizzie McGuire’, & ‘Bring It On Part 2’ and many more - he was even an extra in a p0rn0 once. He one time auditioned for American Idol. This notorious jokester has also battled with depression.

Hopsin was born Marcus Jamal Hopson on July 18th, 1985 in Panorama City, Los Angeles. His parents are still together and he’s still close with both of them often posting updates on facebook on how they are adjusting to his success.

Coming up in the education system young Marcus was placed in Special Education classes. In his free time he would skateboard and listen to rap music, he developed an obsession with Eminem’s work.

At the age of 15 he started working through the summers as an extra on television shows, first in Disney Channel TV shows such as Even Stevens, Lizzie McGuire, then other projects like Cold Case, Malcolm in the Middle, John Tucker Must Die and Gilmore Girls. He can also be scene in the background of Bring It On Part 2 doing some crunk dancing. He would continue this work for several years.

His most steady gig was on That’s So Raven where he auditioned and was cast as day player and had some speaking parts.
