Before Mark Wahlberg established himself as one Hollywood’s most popular leading man, Before he was worth an estimated 200 Million, Before he was Marky Mark spreading good Vibrations with the funky bunch.

Mark Wahlberg grew up in Dorchester Massachusetts and was a troubled youth, he dropped out of high school at the age of 14 and spent 45 days in prison at 16 after he took out the eye of a man with a metal hook. From there he began focusing on turning his life around developing a strong interest in fitness and initially music.

Born on June 5, 1971, in Dorchester, Mass., Mark Wahlberg grew up the youngest of nine children in a working class Irish Catholic Family. His Mother Alma was a bank clerk and nurse aid and his father Donald a deliver and bus driver.
