When Your Appetite Exceeds Your Stake: The Choice between Heroism and Outlawry
2 years ago
42
When the world faces you, and it will happen, your stake will come to be less than your appetite. When the crumbs fall, you should take your piece up, knowing what the alternative is. A hero or an outlaw, the bloody choice is yours!"
The world will confront or challenge you at some point in time, leading to your stake or interest in something being less than your desire for more. The second sentence advises taking advantage of an opportunity to benefit oneself when it presents itself, rather than suffer the consequences of not doing so. The final sentence presents a stark choice between being a hero or an outlaw, implying that one must be willing to take risks and possibly face violent consequences in order to succeed.
