Before Dwayne The Rock Johnson ever stepped into a wresteling ring, before he was one of Hollywood’s highest earning and most celebrated actors before earning 52 Million in 2014 alone.
Dwayne was born into a professional wrestling family but first chose a career as a football player – he had a successful career in college at the University of Miami but an injury cost him his ticket into the NFL. He did play for two short months in the Canadain Football League he then turned to wrestiling initially under the name Flex Kavana and later Rocky Maivia. He was born in Hayward, California on May 2nd 1972.
