Before Ellen Degeneres was the Queen of Daytime Talk Show, Before She Wed Porcia De Rossi, Before Johnny Carson invited her to sit with him on the Tonight Show.

She originally aspired to be a veterinarian but dropped out of University and was working at JC Penny and sa waitress at TGI Friday’s, in the 80’s she went from Emceeing comedy cafes to touring the country to breaking into Television and eventually film it wasn’t until 1997 that she came out to the world on the Oprah Winfrey show. Ellen was born in Metairie Lousisiana on January 26 1958.
