Before she penned the song “Young and Beautiful” and receiving her first grammy win with the Summertime sadness remix Lana Del Ray grew up singing in her church choir, at 15 she was sent to a a boarding school to deal with her alcohol dependence, she also helped paint and rebuild houses on an Indian reservation across the U.S.
