Sunday Longplay is back with a ROM Hack of one of the greatest NES games ever made! Welcome to Mega Man 3 Improvement!

As I just said, Mega Man 3 is one of the greatest NES games ever made, but you can clearly see the signs that it was rushed out to market to meet the deadline. To start, there is no intro story so you don't know what was going on in the game. You had to read in the manual that Dr. Wily had supposedly changed his tune after his second foiled attempt to take over the world and had begun working together with Dr. Light on a peacekeeping robot known as Gamma, and that the 8 robot masters were sent to different planets to gather elements for the robot and then started going berserk. Also, you never heard the full version of the Wily Castle Map theme in the game, and there were numerous unused assets in the game as well.

Enter Kuja Killer with Mega Man 3 Improvement, which adds a story to the intro, uses the full version of the Wily Map theme when we first head to Wily's castle, restores some of the unused assets, prevents possible softlocks, and implements many other improvements and bug fixes that are too numerous to list here. The end result is what many consider the definitive edition of Mega Man 3, and I agree!
