Life will turn you inside out, if you only expose yourself to it. Turning oneself inside out is how we enter the world - we can finally live in the world, instead of in our heads.

Loss is the prerequisite of growth. You will leave things behind: bad things that you're ready to sacrifice, bad things that you struggle to let go of; good things that you're not willing to give up on, and good things you're willing to sacrifice.

This life is a nuanced balancing act of sanity. And it's painful.
