The V8 Speed and Resto Shop crew installed a Ford Racing 5.0 Coyote V8 engine backed by a Ford 6R80 6-speed automatic transmission into this clean black Thunderbird.

But in order to handle the extra power, the V8 Speed and Resto Shop also installed a new performance chassis to add improved suspension geometry, more precise steering, better Wilwood brakes, increased traction, and overall chassis stiffness to the classic T-Bird. We’re also installing a Vintage Air A/C unit, sounds from Custom Autosound, and making some interior upgrades.
