use this outside of Tiletypes:
lua @df.tiletype_material

material commands
paint stone diamond_blue
paint stone diamond_yellow
paint stone raw_adamantine
paint material 9 = GRASS_DARK
paint mat 1 sand

Seems like you need to paint in the soil wall first then swap to the floor
