Chase Elliott Calls Out Fans Who Think He's Boring and Admits He Has No Plans to Change

Chase Elliott has proven in his young career to be one of the best Cup Series drivers, earning 18 wins, including the 2020 championship. In addition to his on-track achievements, he's been voted the sport's most popular driver for the last five years. But not everyone is a fan of the No. 9 driver.

During a recent appearance on the Rubbin Is Racing podcast with Jeff Gordon promoting the 2023 season, the 27-year-old driver talked about a variety of topics, ranging from his thoughts on the upcoming season to how he addresses conflict. During that latter discussion the Hendrick Motorsports pilot candidly called out those fans who have given him a hard time in the past for being boring, especially during confrontational moments, revealed why he does it, and admitted he has no plans to change anytime soon.
