Dale Jr. Wants to Race More but NASCAR Decision Fans Have Blasted for Years, Won't Let It Happen

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been in retirement from full-time NASCAR Cup Series racing since the 2018 season. Despite his departure, he's returned each year for one Xfinity Series race. This year, he's adding another race to the schedule.

Interestingly, during a recent episode of his popular Dale Jr. Download podcast, the Hall of Famer admitted he is actually interested in competing in more national series events, but a controversial decision by the sanctioning body that fans have blasted for years is preventing it from happening.
