The US dollar is the world's reserve currency. For now.

One of the things which has made the USA the powerhouse that it is, is the dollar’s reserve currency status. This status depended on two things:
- Control of middle east oil
- Carrier groups

But the watering down of the currency over the COVIDiocy, combined with turning the navy into painted rust, combined with ticking off the Saudi’s to the point where they’d rather make common cause with China and Iran, of all places, puts this all in jeopardy.

And if the US dollar loses it’s reserve status, Nelly bar the doors.
