THE SWEDISH NATION STATE WAS FOUNDED BY GUSTAV VASA BETWEEN 1523 AND 1560 ON THE PREMISE OF DEFYING AND BREAKING WITH THE CONCORDAT OF WORMS/WURMS (1122); SPECIFICALLY THE IMPERIAL EDICT OF EMPEROR HENRY V AND THE AGREEMENT OF POPE CALIXTUS II REGARDING INVESTITURE.
