Client pretending that he sent an email requesting cat visits and then emailing to say he had to call another sitter because I never responded to his email. He never sent an email. This plays into a paranoia scheme which could make me (or anyone for that matter) go down the wormhole two different ways: 1. someone's hacking my email or 2. my client of many years, whom I've never missed a beat for, decided to lie all of a sudden and drop me like a hot potato while making it seem like I was the problem. Imagine an army of people willing to do the same types of things. Deflect blame and play a lot of mental games similar to this example or even worse examples.

This after six years of service as a cat sitter, first for his two cats Lester and Willy Wonka, and then later for just Lester after Willy Wonka passed away.
