He obtained a 4 year undergraduate degree in Immunology at University of Toronto, medical degree at McGill University, and 5 year specialization in Radiology and Oncology. Dr. Makis ran the largest Medical Isotope Cancer Treatment program in Canada and have authored over 100 peer reviewed publications in international medical journals.
