Bayern Munich forward, Thomas Mueller, was honest in his analysis after Manchester City produced one of their greatest European performances as they overcame the six-time champions 3-0 in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

"With the 2-0 we lost focus a little bit for a short time, so maybe City deserved the victory in any case. Of course the height (of the defeat) hurts us, we have to be completely honest," said Muller.
