I'm a former Trump Administration White House Press Lead, Press Secretary of Veterans for Trump, and Latinos for Trump. Dick Heller saved my life exactly five years ago next month. I'm Australian-American and wrote my Senior Thesis on how 'guns were bad.'
I was beaten into a coma six times and was found left for dead in a Baltimore dumpster. I met Heller working backstage at CPAC, and he saw me putting make-up on a black eye. A friendship was created, and he taught me how a gun is a great equalizer. He gave me my first firearms lesson with the million-dollar 'Heller Gun' at NRA Headquarters.
The first time I ever 'came out' was at the United States Supreme Court in 2018 as we celebrated the tenth anniversary of The Heller Decision. I replaced Senator Ted Cruz last minute as a speaker due to security concerns. Soon after, the ex who beat me served me with an out-of-state peace order that took me six months to overturn and thousands of dollars.
Two years later, I was viciously drugged and raped by a gentleman we were hiring as my Executive Protection in Philadelphia. I'm currently at 43 stalkers (because of my work in politics) and get death threats almost daily.
It took ALL of that for me to get armed and trained. I'm a proud gun owner and have testified over 125 times in state and federal judiciary committee hearings. I've survived every single gun control argument.
I'm also an attorney, fluent in seven languages, and co-own a cryptocurrency and NFT company that donates $50,000 to veteran service organizations (VSOs).
More recently, in December 2022, I met at The White House with President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Angelina Jolie to tell my story of how my trauma was PREVENTABLE had I been armed and trained. On that exact day, one year prior, Heller and I were kicked out of Pelosi's office because I opened my rape kit for the first time in front of her.
