Local schools were LOCKED DOWN this morning (see below) before this Escanaba & Lake Superior Railroad freight train rolled south with ELS 402 (GP38) taking a few cars to Crivitz, WI. Yes that is an old CONRAIL locomotive still sporting that classic paint job!
It was an interesting morning around here as all schools were in a lockdown for a posted online threat until the suspect was arrested and charged with 4 felonies, his bond is set at $1,000,000! Immediately upon the lockdowns going into place, all local FB groups lit up with posts from kids IN SCHOOL on their phones asking for information and posting what they knew as the suspect was also online watching. It is my belief that kids should NOT be allowed to have (or use) cell phones in school. What do you think?
