Roof Moss Removal By Pressure Washing On Low Pressure, Then Soft Washing.

This was a roof cleaning job carried out for a local business owner in Cambridge that we've done a lot of work for in the past.

They were told that the roof on this office building needed replacing because of all the moss and growth covering a large percentage of the whole roof.

Having had their own maintenance team check the roof battens and felt underlay from in inside the building, they weren't convinced that, that was necessary, as from inside the building the it all looked in excellent condition, with no leaks, no rot and no damage. They felt all that was needed was the moss to be removed, and for any damaged or cracked tiles to be replaced, which they would carry out themselves using their own maintenance team and their own cherry picker.

Having cleaned a few roofs for this business owner in the past, and being very happy with the results, they called us in to remove the moss and growth from the roof and treat it.
While the end result wasn't perfect, and and least 10% of the tiles needed replacing, you can see from the end results, it was a drastic improvement, and the roof is now completely clean, enabling their maintenance team to see exactly what tiles need replacing.
Once they've completed that work, the whole roof will be in excellent working condition, costing them a fraction of what it would cost to re-tile the whole roof, and saving them thousands.
