You must silence every other voice in order to hear the Holy Spirit's still small voice !

You will hear His voice while reading and listening to His Word, and in your prayer times, in worship, and Christian fellowship, Set aside your time for those still, intimate moments and fellowship with Him alone. Listening for the gentle whisper of His voice. - 1 Kings 19:12

The Holy Spirit will not compete with other voices or shout above every distracting noise in your life,

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God -Psalm 46:10
